Caprese

Everything tastes better when it's fresh and organic hence why this caprese is so yummy. As I wrote in my last post, I bought the tomatoes and the basil from Downtown Los Altos farmer's market. We all want to eat healthy and stay fit, but it becomes so boring to constantly be eating the same old caesar or greens salad. So change it up by making caprese! Not only is it absolutely delicious, it is also super easy to make and low in calories. Eat it as a traditional meal or serve it as an appetizer! Either way your guests will love the look and the taste. 

Instructions coming your way: 
Slice up a fresh tomato and some mozzarella 
Put the sliced mozzarella on top of the tomato 
Place basil on top of the mozzarella and tomato
Drizzle some olive oil (optional) and balsamic vinegar 
Tada! A perfect salad in seconds.
